< You Help Children >

20,000 kilometers, 20 countries, 2 people on 2 wheels – On our motorcycle trip from Austria in the direction east we have already reached India. To see children begging on the streets, having nothing to eat and no perspective for the future is really hard for us.

Our next country to visit is Nepal, where we want to help SOS-Kinderdorf to improve the situation for local children. With your help we want to donate 5 cent for every kilometer we went so far on our journey. That would be 1,000 Euros for 20,000 kilometers. Together we can reach the goal!

120 € allow a child one year of school education
26 € can provide 2 gas canisters to prepare food
7 € can offer a child food for one month.

SOS Children´s villages
were founded in 1949 by a young Austrian medical student, Hermann Gmeiner, who witnessed the suffering of so many orphaned and abandoned children after World War II and felt that something had to be done to help them.

SOS Nepal
gives orphaned children a caring home and provides education and medical care for those in need.

The earthquake 2015
killed nearly 9,000 people and injured nearly 22,000. About 2.8 Million people made homeless with entire villages flattened, across many districts of the country.

Children in Nepal
About 45 % of all children in Nepal suffer from undernutrition. Every third child has to work for their family and many of them can´t go to school. Depending on the area between 30 to 80 % of all children start going to school. Girls are often married at a young age.
